“General Scale” Edit.05 shoe series will go on sale on Saturday 10th June.
Edit.05 shoes future synthetic leather and organic cotton for the uppers.
A total of 10 models will be available, including new colors.
The new synthetic leather material is Cordley®, which is made from Teijin Frontier’s ECOPET®.
ECOPET® is a recycled polyester made from used plastic bottles, clothing and fiber scraps by using the latest technology.
Developed in 1995 by Teijin Frontier, which has conducted development and research based on its corporate philosophy of “contributing to a beautiful environment and future,” ECOPET® has been used in all aspects of daily life and continues to evolve.
Organic cotton is treated with a post-dye process.
Canvas uppers are processed with the sole in the same color to create a unified color tone for a creative footwear look.
The item name “PAST” means “to revive time by reproducing the beauty of time gone by”.
The “PAST sole” sneakers feature a one-of-a-kind sole that faithfully reproduces the worn-out, aged rubber and worn-in texture.
The “vintage-like sole” is made of recycled rubber, inspired by worn-out mountaineering shoes.
The shape of the soles and other details are carefully crafted.
